In addition to honoring the military, my redesign of the American currency also sought to address the outdated and vulnerable nature of the current system. With advances in technology, it has become increasingly important to update our currency to ensure its security and protect against counterfeiting. To achieve this, I incorporated new levels of security into the design of each bill. This included features such as watermarks, metallic threads, and color-shifting inks, which make it much more difficult to replicate the bills and ensure that they are authentic.
In addition to security, I also aimed to bring a new level of visual interest to the currency. The current American currency features a relatively uniform design across all denominations, which can make it difficult for users to distinguish between bills. By creating a unique design for each denomination, I hoped to make it easier for users to differentiate between bills at a glance, while also adding a new level of visual interest.
